The Aces came up just short on Friday night, but it wasn’t for lack of effort. LM scratched, clawed and battled mighty Chester toe-to-toe for 32 minutes, playing with moxie and toughness in a hostile road gym and nearly pulling off a quarterfinals upset. But with the game tied in the fourth, the Aces were unable to convert several chances to take the lead and ultimately fell 54-46. The final margin was the largest Chester lead of the game.
A young Aces squad showed no fear, and the kind of growth and resolve that should make them a tough out moving forward in the playoffs. LM turns its attention to a home District playoff matchup against Pennridge Tuesday night at 7:30 in Bryant Gymnasium.
