Aces roll Harriton 89-47 in record-setting romp

2006 state champ Jon Gray paid a visit to the Aces after their win against Harriton

It was all Aces Thursday night, as LM blitzed Harriton 89-47 in front of a large Coaches vs. Cancer night crowd. LM set a Bryant Gymnasium record for points scored and margin of victory. Nine Aces entered the scoring column and every member of the roster saw action. The Aces shot nearly 70% from the field and drilled 13 threes.

Steve Payne '19 and Jack Forrest '19 led the way with 16 points apiece. Theo Henry '19 added 11, Josh Martin '19 and Darryl Taylor '19 chipped in with nine points each and Sam Oshtry '19 added eight on 4-4 shooting.  

The Aces did it on both ends, putting the clamps on defensively and extending their lead in each quarter. By th middle of the final frame their lead had ballooned to more than 40 points. 

Following the game, the Aces earned a visit from Jon Gray '06, a member of the 2006 state championship squad. Jon, an Army veteran who served our country heroically in Afghanistan, congratulated the squad and reminded them to be prepared and to stay focused on the road ahead - one game at a time.
