Aces beat Haverford 60-46 to close regular season

Captain Theo Henry '19 and the Aces will now turn their attention to the postseason.

The Aces closed the regular season with a 60-46 victory at Haverford on Friday. After a sluggish start, LM used strong defense to seize control of the contest. The Aces held the Fords to just 15 second half points and outscored Haverford 14-2 during a key five-minute stretch that extended from the 6:29 mark of the third quarter through the start of the fourth quarter.

Steve Payne '19 led the way with 19 points. Josh Martin '19 added 13 points and 10 rebounds. Since Aces entered the scoring column.

With the win, the Aces improved to 18-4 - their best regular season mark since 2013. The team now turns its attention to the Central League playoffs and a semifinals matchup with Garnet Valley on Sunday at 12:30 PM.
