Dion Harris '17 had the points in the Aces' loss to Ridley.

The Aces rolled into Ridley Friday night looking to continue their recent streak of strong play. Unfortunately, the defending Central League champs had other ideas. LM fell behind early and could never recover in a 61-40 defeat.

The Aces kept things tight throughout the first half and had a chance to draw within four at the end of the second quarter, but a turnover and three ball pushed the Ridley lead to ten at halftime. LM controlled the early part of the third quarter and and had the ball down five points with four minutes left to play in the frame, but another untimely turnover and consecutive scores by the Green Raiders pushed the lead to back to nine.

In the fourth, the Aces were forced to scramble and Ridley kept its poise, carving up the LM defense and preventing any chance of a comeback. Ridley proved why it is the currently class of the Central League and undefeated on the season.

LM shot 3-17 from three-point range on the night and could not find a rhythm on either end of the floor. Credit the Green Raiders, who knocked down ten threes on the night and were led by the stellar play of returning league MVP Brett Foster.

The Aces will get back to work and prepare for another league match-up on Tuesday night at Harriton.
