The following is a note to Aces Nation that was posted on the Aces Basketball Facebook page following the state finals...

Thanks to everyone for an amazing ride this season! Five months of blood, sweat and tears to get to the final night of high school hoops in Pennsylvania. So many great accomplishments and memories along the undefeated 18-0 Central League title campaign....a 19-game winning streak...District Finals....State Finals...a thrilling 30-point win in the state semifinals...playoff games on the biggest stages at Temple, Nova and Penn absolutely rocking home court at the Bryant Gymnasium....a 29-4 record and the 2nd most wins in the history of the school...

Special thanks to our awesome seniors Mike Robbins, Bryce Williamson and Darryl Reynolds who gave their all to Aces Basketball and leave an extraordinary legacy at Lower Merion. You will be missed and we wish you the best of luck!!

Congrats to Chester, a worthy and deserving champion, on their historic season.

THANK YOU to the parents and family members of the team for all of their contributions, time and effort on behalf of the kids and the program.

THANK YOU to the Dawg Pound -- the greatest student section in all of high school hoops, for bringing the home court advantage anywhere and everywhere and for always believing that "we will win." It was amazing to see 12 fan buses show up on a Wednesday night for a game halfway across the state. No one will ever forget your heartfelt performance at the Bryce Jordan Center and your amazing show of support all year long.

THANK YOU to ALL of ACES NATION -- the students, staff, alumni, community members and friends across the globe for your love and passion for Lower Merion Basketball. We are blessed to be part of an extraordinary basketball family.

How lucky we are to have something that unites us. Something good, wholesome, authentic, worthwhile. Something that brings people of all interests, backgrounds and generations together as a community. In a world that moves faster every day, that can be complicated and challenging, high school basketball is a remarkable antidote. A throwback. A simple, positive reminder of what is truly meaningful.

Kids doing amazing things. A community caring for one other. Having fun. Showing emotion. Believing in something bigger than ourselves. Being human.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Lower Merion Basketball.
