The Aces are headed to the PIAA AAAA Final Four! LM will take on Cathedral Prep (Erie) on Wednesday night at 7 PM at Bald Eagle Area HS in Wingate, PA.

A very limited number of tickets ($8) are available through noon on Wednesday in the LMHS athletic office. Additional tickets will be on sale at the door on a first-come, first-served basis. The LM fan bus is sold out.

LM returns to the Final Four for the first time since 2006, when they defeated Chester in a 70-65 thriller. The Aces scored a first round state victory over Dover of District 3, beat the Catholic League's Roman Catholic 67-49 last Wednesday and knocked off Easton of District 11 66-54 on Saturday. The Ramblers of Cathedral Prep, a perennial Western PA power, are 22-5 and champions of District 10. They advanced to the semifinal by beating Pittsburgh's Shaler 52-49.

Bald Eagle Area High School is located at 751 South Eagle Valley Road in Wingate, about 25 minutes north of State College. For those making the drive, the recommended route begins with 76W towards Harrisburg. Take Exit 247 to merge onto I-283 N towards Harrisburg.Hershey. Then merge onto I-83 N. Follow for 3.8 miles, then merge onto I-81 S. After about 2 miles, take the exit towards US 22W/US 322 W. You'll be on this road for quite a ways (about 75 miles); continue to follow signs for US 322 W/Lewistown/State College. Beyond State College, continue onto PA-144 N for 13.5 miles to Wingate. Come through town and continue following signs for PA-144 N. Take the ramp onto PA-150/US-220 Alt S and follow for 1.2 miles, Bald Eagle HS will be on the right.
