The Aces pulled out a thrilling 45-44 win over Bensalem in the District playoffs on Tuesday night in a hard-fought, see-saw game. Neither team held an advantage of more than four points at any point during the contest. Raheem Hall '13 scored the Aces' final basket with less than 20 seconds to play, converting a layup after picking up a loose ball in the paint to put LM up 45-43. Bensalem had an opportunity to tie the game at the free throw line in the closing seconds, but the Owls made the first and missed the second free throw and the Aces secured the rebound as the clock expired.

With the win, the Aces' avenged a 38-37 loss to the Bensalem in the first game of the season. Much has transpired since the teams met in a showcase at Philadelphia University in December, but both games followed a similar, down-to-the-wire script. This time, however, the battle-tested Aces came out on top.

With the win, the Aces improve to 18-8 on the season and have won 10 of their last 11 games. The Owls fall to 19-7. Raheem Hall led LM with 11 points. Darryl Reynolds added eight points and six blocks. BJ Johnson (6 points), Mike Robbins (6 points), Darius Hall (5 points), Eric Green (5 points), Mark Krantz (3 points) and Yohanny Dalembert (1 point) rounded out the scoring.

Up next for LM is a re-match with #6 W.C. Rustin on Friday night at 7 PM at Rustin. The Aces dropped a 61-57 decision to the Golden Knights back on January 16th at Harrisburg.
