Aces face Hazleton Sunday

The '95 Aces saw their season come to a close against Hazleton. LM would not lose another playoff game in the Kobe Bryant era.

The Aces travel to Parkland on Sunday to play Hazleton, a traditional state power from Northeastern PA. This is the first match-up between the two teams since March of 1995, when the Aces lost an overtime thriller to the Cougars in a second-round state playoff game. That game was a watershed moment in Aces history; many players and fans believe it was the impetus for a state championship win the next year, and evidence that Lower Merion had returned to the state basketball scene.
