Aces alumnus Ryan Brooks '06 notched his 1,000th career point during Temple's 76-64 victory against Massachusetts on Saturday. Brooks became the 45th player in the Owls' storied history to reach the 1,000 point plateau and he did so in style, scoring a career-high 29 points in the win. Brooks needed 14 points entering the game and reached the milestone late in the first half on his fourth three-pointer of the contest. Brooks would connect on three more from beyond the arc and finish 7-10 from three and 6-6 from the free throw line to go along with 4 assists and no turnovers. He also limited the Minutemen's top scorer, Ricky Harris, to just 11 points, more than six below his season average. The Owls are now 15-3 and ranked #19 in the country.
