Support the Aces, Coaches vs. Cancer at Friday's game

Friday night is the annual Coaches vs. Cancer night in the Central League. The Aces will join their counterparts around the league in collecting donations and sponsoring various activities to generate funds and raise awareness for the cause. Simply by attending the Aces' game v. Conestoga (7:30 PM tipoff), fans can make a difference as a portion of gate reciepts will benefit cancer research. Fans may also purchase honor cards to honor individuals whose lives have been affected by cancer and enter to win exclusive gear, including a Lower Merion alumni shirt autographed by Kobe Bryant, by purchasing half-court shot attempts.

Coaches vs. Cancer is a joint effort by the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches that empowers basketball coaches, their teams, and communities to help win the fight against cancer. Last year, Central League teams raised more than $10K. The Aces' goal for Coaches v. Cancer Night on Friday is $1,500.
