The Aces' playoff journey continues Saturday with a match-up against Easton in the PIAA AAAA Quarterfinals. Tip-off is 1 PM at Reading’s Geigle Complex. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the game for $6.

The Aces (27-3) scored a first round state victory over Dover of District 3, then beat Catholic League power Roman Catholic 67-49 on Wednesday night. The Red Rovers (22-7) of District 11 have been on a serious roll of late. They knocked off Emmaus -- a District 11 power that beat the Aces earlier this year -- to earn a state bid, then beat highly-regarded Wissahickon to open state play. In round two, they ousted Delaware Valley, a team that had beaten District 3 champ Chambersburg in round one.

LM and Easton last played in 2007 in the second round of the state playoffs. The Aces won 60-58 on a buzzer-beater by Greg Robbins in a game played at the Geigle Complex.
