2nd Annual Jimmy Brown Alumni Classic to be held June 3rd

Lower Merion Basketball and The Friends of Jimmy Brown will hold its 2nd Jimmy Brown Alumni Classic in the Kobe Bryant Gymnasium on Friday, June 3rd. All proceeds will benefit Bryn Mawr Rehab’s Cruisin’ NOT Boozin program. Cruisin' NOT Boozin is set up to create awareness among young people about the potential devastating effects of drinking and driving.

The evening’s honorees are friend and former LM basketball star Jimmy Brown ’87 and his parents, Kaye and Jim Brown. Jimmy and his family have gone school to school, sharing their very personal experience in conjunction with Cruisin' Not Boozin', giving kids a strong message about being behind the wheel under the influence.

The Lower Merion basketball senior class will take the floor one last time as they battle Aces Alumni greats. The night will be filled with basketball, fun, music, games, and food.

The game will take place from 6:30-830. Ticket prices are $3.00 for 13 and younger, $5.00 for students, and $10.00 for adults.
