Sporting fresh, new State Championship tees, several of the Aces made visits to their middle school alma maters on Friday to say thanks to former teachers and show some love to their young fans. At Welsh Valley, Ryan Brooks, Garrett Williamson and Arian Thompson toured the hallways and handed out posters, signed autographs and posed for pictures with students for nearly an hour. The three Aces seniors reminisced about their days as Dragons and invited current WV students to join them at the team's victory parade on Sunday (1 PM Suburban Square to LMHS).

Said more than one teacher, "I hardly recognized you! You got so tall!"

Said more than one student, "Wow, you guys are really tall!" All Aces players will be on-hand to sign limited edition State Championship posters during the bar-b-que at Sunday's parade and celebration. Rally towels, commemorative t-shirts and a variety of food will also be available for purchase.

Sunday looks to be a beautiful day. Grab your lawn chair and a seat along Montgomery Ave. and enjoy the festivities!
