| Brian (BJ)Connelly '80 | The '78 squad was pretty good with Jody Armour hitting jumpers from the corner, Steve Smith and Joe Conwell(Phila Eagles) banging down low and DeDe Holland weaving in and out of traffic. Coaches Stephens and Doc running/drilling us ragged (me on JV at the time) LM b-ball was a great experience even when we ran into a giant named Sam Bowie(Drafted ahead of Micheal Jordan) Lebanon HS at the Palestra in the quarter finals for state. JD Bowie was a good 6th man on that squad and future NFL star Russel Carter(Jets) getting minutes as a soph. I am glad to see that ACES Nation is still dominating the Central League, the district, Chester HS and the State. |
